Hey guys...
Just heard about a "new" means and material to load our tires with. It is called "RimGuard". Supposedly, will not attack the wheel like calcium does and will allow work to be done on the tire if need be, without negative turnout. I have not had the occasion to try this new stuff...Has anyone else? Curious.

Best rim guard is a tube!!!!!!!!!!!!I just loaded my 4 rear wheels and told them to use tubes, the tubes were only 12 dollars each!!!
Actually, I heard "rim guard" brand is a sugar solution. It this true?
Sweet.

The main ingredient is beet pulp I believe--close enough to sugar and also a main ingredient in some dry dog food. ....

I was curious...It seems that alot of dealers are pushing this "new" solution as a means to save the wheels. Ok, so it is a beet pulp or beet juice solution...will it add the weight factor that calcium does?
In the past, I have always installed tubes whenever a load was needed, thereby not running the risk of eats on the wheels. I guess time will tell...if nothing else, when you are out on the tractor in the middle of the summer, you can always rely on a good cup of beet juice to satisfy your thirst!

Will it add weight? Of course, it's sugar. It has lots of calories. ....
